Voting will always have a change in the country because everyone has a different opinion on how the country should be. Even if you didn't want the change, it will still happen with or without your approval. You either accept it or facing the change will be trouble.

If voting was responsibility then it wouldn't be a discrimination, if no one could vote then that information would be true but we are saying that everyone above 18 has to vote. If no one could vote then that would be a discrimination. Voting has nothing yo do with race, language, religion or even color of skin.

I do agree that people who are not educated about politics shouldn't vote, however it is not all about politics, it is also about knowing what is wrong and what is right, who is bad and who is good. You don't need education to know who is lying and who is telling the truth, who will do good to the country and who will harm it.

Voting is a necessary part of the duties of citizenship, just like jury duty or paying taxes.

Another example: In the 2012 presidential election, less than 54% of the eligible population turned out to vote. Americans have been beaten, jailed and tortured. Some even died.
